Dying to Live
A five-day sacred ritual of death and rebirth
Many tribal cultures have a central ritual of death and rebirth.
It is a time of leaving the past behind,
Of settling accounts with the life you have lived,
Of releasing the small story of your life,
And growing into something larger,
Of listening to the echoes of your soul,
And intuiting the vision of your life.
Our contemporary Western culture has no equivalent ritual. People are left adrift on the sea of life, trying to find their way,
Often changing only after their life hits the wall or they suffer significant loss.
There is another way.
You can come and explore the "as if" hypothesis.
What would be incomplete in your life?
How would you experience life in that precious moment by moment
context?
Often our fear of dying stops us, consciously or unconsciously from living fully.
The guide of the "Dying to Live" process,
Deva Daricha
has been blessed to have three near death experiences
where he went through the dying process,
journeyed through the realm of the dying and the dead,
into the moment of the eternal present,
and into the domain of the eternal presence.
He holds the door open for others to travel into these regions;
for these realms exist in all of us.
"What you encounter on
the other side is
between you and Spirit. I continually notice the
profound
transformative effect that this blessed ritual invites in people."
This is a
contemporary ritual of initiation into one of the great Spiritual
Mysteries.

The Guide
Deva Daricha is a fully initiated shaman. His initiation into the mysteries of the dreaming of this land was completed, after 13 years of preparation, in November 1989. The account of this and many other experiences can be read in his recently released shamanic auto-biography "The Making of a Shaman".
His other publications include,
- The Tantric Path (with Shivam Rachana)
- Healing Circumcision,
- Understanding the Body Transformation Process,
- Mother, Baby, Heart and Brain.
Daricha has conducted this ritual in Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia.
He is a member of
the Australian Association of Professional Rebirthers at Trainer
level, a member of the International Breathwork Foundation, and has
recently been invited to be a foundation board member of the International
Breathwork Training Alliance.
Daricha is the founder of the Body
Transformation process, and has trained over 100 practitioners worldwide.
A former chairman of the Philosophy department at Melbourne State College,
he brings a keen intellect, compassionate wisdom and a lifetime of working
with people to this ritual.
