Dying to Live Program Information

Deva Daricha: "In the last years of the 1990's I curtailed much of my personal teaching as I was searching and waiting for a different way of working with people to reveal itself to me. The model that I was looking for was one that would enable us to shift the very fabric of our lives; that which in shamanic terms is known as our point of identity. A metaphor for this is shifting out of the story of our personality into the song of our soul. As we do this a lot of these self definitions that have kept past limitations and neurosis in place simply drop away.

From my own journey I have found that when we access the dimension in which our own soul energy exists in a pure form and are able to stay alert and learn to navigate in that space, many profoundly significant changes can happen for us, and I was wanting to find a way to share this experience with others and to enable them to shift the point of identity in their own lives.

Quite a number of people access what we might call their soul space when they have near death experiences. Don Juan, the Mexican sorcerer, advised his apprentice Carlos Castenada to live as if death was 4 feet behind him, over his left shoulder, and to use death as a teacher. I have had a number of classical near-death experiences in my life and have brought much of what I have learned from those into this program called Dying to Live.

This program has been taught to several hundred participants now and I am in awe of the level of change that many people in the program have been able to make. The wonderful thing about Dying to Live is that all of the teaching of any value comes from your own being and is directed to your own life and that the changes move into the very fabric of ones life. I am offering this program in a beautiful rural retreat in Victoria. It is a intensive residential ritual of Death and Rebirth and it is not about "dealing with your stuff" but rather "building a bridge, crossing over it and moving on."
